Bhugol Bhushan Award (No biodata is accepted)
The Deccan Geographical Society, India has constituted “Bhugol Bhushan Award” from 2006. This award consists of certificate of excellence, memento and cash prize. The DGSI society tries, seeks and commits to promote geographical related activity in the field of watershed management, earthquake, micro level planning, weather forecasting, rural development, urban planning and tribal development. And therefore DGSI society nominates a person for Bhugol Bhushan Award every year (Note that any proposal will not be entertained in this regard). This award is distributed at the time of inauguration of DGSI conference.
